Today is  the last time I can voluntary defer my private loans(which I paid 150)..So by August 14 I need to go back to school part time or be forced to pay my private loans. Based on my income I probably will fall behind quickly until I’m in default. I’m in debt completely to Sallie Mae. Not even a job in my field would allow me to pay 900 plus a month (I can do 300 but that won’t cover interest). Now that doesn’t even cover my other federal loans that are due for payment in 2013. Oh and I currently pay 70 a month on another loan..I can’t consolidate with Sallie Mae. I wish as a 18 year old I knew of the world as I do now. No health insurance. I moved in with a roommate to lower my rent and bills. Next option? Work everyday all day until I become inhuman because I hoped for a better future? Another victim of the American Dream illusion.
